Rev. Burhans is trained and experienced in the relationship assessment process known as Prepare/Enrich. Over the course of his ministry, he has walked many engaged couples through conversations about their relationship leading up to their weddings and is offering to do the same for couples whether they are preparing for marriage or have been married many years.

Prepare/Enrich is an effective research-proven assessment that empowers couples to learn about their relationship, become conscious of areas of growth, and develop further relationship skills to foster meaningful positive change. The process involves between 4 to 8 hour-long conversations (either in person or on Zoom) and further engaging at-home worksheets for couples which offer deeper insight and understanding. To learn more about this offering from your Lead Pastor feel free to reach out to him at will@fcc-winchester.org

Our speaker, Lizzie Linn, is returning to FCCW after her well-attended talk last spring, Mindfulness: Practice Being Present. We hope you can join us after the service on Sunday, April 19, to hear her thoughts and guidance on this timely topic.

Our annual Epiphany Celebration will take place on Sunday, January 4 at 5 PM. We invite you to bring your friends, family, and neighbors, plus a potluck plate or dish to share. All ages are welcome for the dinner and the candlelit walk through the church.

Traditional Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

Wednesday, Dec. 24, 9:00 PM

Our traditional Candlelight Service with scriptural lessons and sacred carols, special music from the choir. We’ll end the service by lighting candles in the darkened sanctuary as we sing together Silent Night, Holy Night. Join us in person or online.

If you would like to donate a chancel Christmas plant as a memorial, or in honor of someone, please fill out this form. You can mail a check to the church office, use Venmo, or PayPal. (Please indicate “Christmas plants” in the memo field). There are special Flower Offering envelopes in the narthex and office lobby. The plants are $20 each.
