We would love your support in preparing and serving a summer meal at the Dwelling Place on June 20th from 4:30-6:00pm. We tried breakfast for dinner last month for the first time and it was such a hit! So we thought we would try a meal we haven’t served before…hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hotdogs and other summertime favorites. The grilled food is taken care of but we need pasta salads, desserts, snacks and milk. We so appreciate your ongoing support of the work we do each month at The Dwelling Place. With any questions or suggestions please reach out to Michelle Stewart at michmarcstewart@verizon.net or by cell 781-835-9203.

Dwelling Place Sign up for June

We are looking for a few volunteers to help prepare and pack “to go” meals for the Dwelling Place on Saturday, September 19^th.  The Dwelling place is a collaboration of area churches that prepares and serves meals at the United Methodist Church in Woburn for individuals and families in need.  Our FCC is responsible for the meal on the third Saturday of each month.

During this period of COVID-19, we have been preparing and packing “to go” meals for as many as 40 guests.

Your help would be limited to preparing the food at your home and helping Louise and Cindy in the kitchen to pack the “to go” containers.  A table is set up outside at the DP where Lisa and Pastor Bill distribute the containers and other donations from Loving Spoonful for our guests.

We all take precautions by wearing masks, gloves and washing hands often.  We ask for your help with only what you are comfortable doing.  If you would prefer to help with only food prep in your home, that would be still be super helpful.

For planning purposes, please let us know by Monday, September 14^th if you are to help.
