On the liturgical calendar of the church it’s Trinity Sunday and while we always acknowledge the three persons of the Trinity in our worship at some level or another, this week we’ll lean into it a bit more consciously and worship together the Creator, Christ, and Holy Spirit. Jane Ring Frank and Jeffrey Mead will offer a piano organ duet, we’ll have a chance to lift up prayers together as a community, and we’ll consider what a trinitarian conception of God can mean for our lives. Join us in person or online at 10am.

Many elements of the worship service will be focused on the goodbye. But still worship will be about God and our relationship with God. The scriptures highlight the gift of Hospitality – something at which this body of Christ is especially adept. At Pastor Judy’s request the choir will be singing Come Dwell in Solomon’s Walls – a long cherished anthem with which we began the church year. The Pandemic has turned everything upside down, so now we close this church year and Pastor Judy’s pastorate with it. There will be a liturgy of ‘release’ where the congregation and Pastor Judy share words of reconciliation and gratitude. The picnic to follow will be festive and joyful. Worship begins at 10 a.m. in person or online. We hope you will join us.
