Indivisible Winchester Partners with Winchester Unitarian Society to Host No Kings Event on March 28 as Part of a Nationwide Movement Winchester, MA – March 28, 2025 –
Residents of Winchester and neighboring communities are invited to participate in a nationwide day of nonviolent protest as part of the third No Kings National Day of Nonviolent Action. This event is one of over 2,500 scheduled across the United States, uniting millions of Americans in a collective stand against authoritarianism and the abuse of power. The local event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 428 Main Street, in front of the Winchester Unitarian Society. Attendees can expect visibility with signs and chants, as well as a rally featuring speakers, music, an action table, and more. Additionally, an optional community walk will take place, Neighbors Join In, where participants will gather at 10:30 a.m. at one of three designated hubs in town: the First Congregational Church (a meeting point for faith communities), the Sculpture Garden on Shore Rd, and Bellino Park at 861 Main St. The walk will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will join the No Kings Rally which starts at 11:30 a.m., providing an opportunity for community engagement and visibility.
No Kings is a mass, nonviolent movement that has already mobilized over five million participants on June 14, 2025, and more than 7 million individuals across all 50 states and the District of Columbia on October 18, 2025. The movement continues to grow as communities unite to reject authoritarian power grabs and to defend dignity and freedom.
