Sunday’s message will be based on Matthew 16:21-28. We often think about denial and Peter in the Holy Week scriptures where Peter denies Jesus in the garden. But Matthew 16 is another instance of denial on Peter’s part. Lisa Loughlin, our preacher, will explore denial and some of the ways we are like Peter. Lisa will join Rev. Judy in serving Communion. This is the last summer service. On September 10th, we will worship at the same time and in the same place, but our traditional Order of Worship and our beloved choir will reappear. This Sunday, worship will be more informal but will offer the same music, prayer, inspiration and fellowship. Come join us.
