Infants Through 5th Grade Ministry

Sunday Morning Child Care

Children are always welcome in the sanctuary!! We embrace the joyful sounds of babies and children and provide fidget bags to help little ones stay engaged during the service. For families who need a bit more space, our Family Room just outside the sanctuary offers a cozy setting with toys, a changing table, and a live-stream of the service. We also offer free nursery care on the ground floor beneath the sanctuary, where babies and toddlers can play and explore under the attentive care of a certified teacher and a nurturing high school helper.

Stepping Stones: Sunday Mornings 10:00 AM

Stepping Stones is our weekly Sunday School program for children in pre-K through 5th grade. Each week, we begin in the sanctuary with families before heading to classrooms after the Time for the Young.

Throughout the year, children explore stories from the Bible: the Old Testament in the fall, Jesus’ ministries in the winter, and the New Testament in the spring. Classes are led by a team of dedicated volunteers who love and nurture each child. Learning comes alive through a variety of activities, including games, crafts, STEM experiments, plays, and other creative ways to engage with the stories.

Stepping Stones: Adventure Days

Free Stepping Stones Adventure Days offers K-5 kids fun, faith, and friendship—both during a special summer week and on select school-year PD days. Through games, crafts, music, storytelling, and outdoor play, children explore spiritual themes in a joyful, welcoming environment.

All are welcome to join us—and we’d love your help! Volunteers of all ages make this program possible. Whether you can lend a hand for a day or the whole week, we invite you to be part of the fun.

Our faith formation program runs September through June, and families are welcome to join anytime. Regular participants are asked to complete a simple registration form.

Hand in Hand: Family Service Projects

Our families love rolling up their sleeves to work alongside local non-profit partners, showing kids how they can make a positive difference in the world. From cooking and serving meals to building beds for children in need and more, these hands-on experiences bring the spirit of Jesus to life through action and fun.

Sacred Seasons

Communal holiday celebrations create cherished family memories. From lighting Advent candles and the joyful (sometimes chaotic!) Christmas pageants, to Palm Parades during Holy Week and Easter egg hunts, there’s something for everyone. Whether your family follows a faith tradition or is just looking to celebrate together, all are welcome.
