Join Us for Worship This Sunday at 10 in the Sanctuary (February 9, 2025)
Our scripture given for this Sunday is Luke 5:1-11 where Jesus tells the disciples to cast their nets into the water one last time after a long night of futile fishing. In doing so their nets fill to bursting. There’s something here for us about scarcity and abundance, about being willing to cast out in faith despite our doubts or despair. Join us this Sunday for worship at 10am in the sanctuary or online and open yourself to what God’s Spirit might be asking of you at this time. Also, keep an eye out for emails Saturday night into Sunday morning as we track the weekend snow storm. Might be that we’ll gather for a brief service online instead of gathering in the sanctuary depending on how much snow comes.We welcome Lori Krinsky to worship this Sunday who will share a Moment for Mission with us. Lori is the volunteer President of NAMI Central Middlesex which is a local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness whose mission is to help build better lives for people living with mental health conditions and their families as well. NAMI reaches out to the community through support, education, and advocacy efforts. NAMI’s signature program for those who love someone living with a mental health condition is the Family-to-Family class which will be offered at no charge at FCC Winchester starting March 15th.
