Part-time Employment Opportunity with The Dwelling Place
The Dwelling Place is looking for an individual that would be available every Monday, Wednesday & Saturday evenings from about 4:45 to 6:45 to act as a continuous presence at each serving night. The individual should be interested in interacting and supporting individuals and families in need.
This individual will need to have compassion, understanding and reason, but also firm boundaries to enforce the Dwelling Place dining room rules and intercede if trouble arises. We are looking for a level-headed individual who can diffuse potential difficult (possibly physical) situations with logic and reason.The position includes one (1) week (6 hours) paid vacation. The ideal candidate should be able to commit to being available for three days each week to provide continuity from one night to the next. Consistent attendance is expected.
