Paul Winter: Missa Gaia
On Sunday, May 1, 4:00 p.m., I will be conducting my final concert with Cantemus Chamber Chorus. We are excited to welcome Grammy Award-winner Paul Winter and the Paul Winter Consort in a performance of Winter’s jubilant “Missa Gaia/Earth Mass.” American gospel singer Theresa Thomason is the featured artist.I think the concert is going to be really terrific. (I don’t say that very often). And it is an honor to work with Paul Winter and the Consort.
Tickets are selling really fast. The concert will be held at Belleville Congregational Church in Newburyport. Seating capacity = 500. We will sell in the range of 350 + tickets. Masks and vaccinations required (at this point).We will be performing LIVE and LIVE STREAMED.

No pressure.Just wanted you to know – we performed this piece almost 9 years ago – at the church. Bruce L. was our wonderful soloist on “Beatitudes.” Such fun memories! This is an expanded version. And let me say that Paul Winter is playing as well as ever. He is amazing!
