This Week in Worship (May 4, 2025)
We have a big Sunday on tap this week with Creation Care Sunday, The Lord’s Supper, the Jazz Band leading our worship music and our Annual Meeting immediately afterward. We’re in the midst of Eastertide so our scriptures reflect the resurrection accounts of Jesus. This scene from the Gospel of John has Jesus making breakfast for the disciples. Nothing dramatic, just Jesus saying “hey guys, come have breakfast.” How might such a moment inspire us towards care for creation as a response to Christ’s resurrected presence? Come a little before 10am because the Jazz Band will begin playing at around 9:45am or join us online for the service here. We look forward to a rich and lively Sunday together.
