Worship this Sunday has a few themes running through it. Our Stewardship Ministry has designated November 12th as Pledge Sunday. Pledge cards for your 2018 pledge will be collected during the offering and dedicated with prayer. The theme of the campaign is Deep Roots, New Branches which connects both stewardship and membership. Five new members will be joining and the congregation has a part to play in welcoming them during the service and afterward Also, this weekend, we acknowledge and thank our Veterans for their service and their sacrifice. Our scriptures are Psalm 78:1-7 and Matthew 25:1-13. The choir anthem, “The Tree of Peace”, lifts up both the need for and the possibility of peace. In light of the tragedy last Sunday in Sutherland Springs, Texas, this is something many churches will be praying for as they worship this Sunday. We hope you can worship with us.
