Rev. Will preaches this Sunday and our worship will be centered around the text from Matthew 14 of Jesus walking on water to his disciples in the boat. We’ll lift up the sea as locus and symbol for our spiritual and earthly lives as we reflect on this scripture, offer prayers for our oceans and her seafarers, and sing together for Jesus to pilot us “o’er tempestuous seas”.
