Over the past few weeks in my sermons, we have heard a lot about discipleship. This week in our texts we find the people of Israel in exile in a foreign land called Babylon. God’s advice through the prophet, Jeremiah is to build, plant and pray while in exile. We will also have the Health Ministry helping with the service and there will be healing stations for a time of prayer. I have so enjoyed serving the First Congregational Church in Winchester while Rev. Will was on sabbatical.
