Lust. Yep, that’s our deadly sin for the 5th week of Lent and the 5th week of our worship series on the 7 Deadly Sins. Our guiding scripture from John 12 is the beautiful account of an intimate act of body-giveness from Mary to Jesus as he prepares for his death. This is set in stark contrast to the sin of lust that casts deep shadows across the psyche of individuals and collectives.
