Composting Pilot

The Chidley Hall composting pilot is going well! Black Earth is picking up a good amount of food waste each week and we are planning to provide additional composting buckets for the upstairs kitchen and other locations as needed. Remember that the compostable plates, cups, and utensils can go in the composting bucket. Many thanks to Bruce Alexander, Ed Banzy, and Dave Foy for implementing this program!

Rallies in Burlington

If you’d like to participate in peaceful gatherings about immigration-related topics, here are a couple of local ideas:

  • Bearing Witness @ ICE sponsors a weekly rally on Wednesdays from 11 AM to 1 PM outside of the ICE Enforcement & Removal Operations Office
  • The Greater Assabet Indivisible Network sponsors a weekly “Justice 4 All” rally on Thursdays from 11 AM to 1 PM outside of the Burlington ICE Enforcement & Removal Operations Office

Lenten Series

The Justice Ministry is teaming up with Pastors Will and Maeve, and the Adult Faith Exploration Ministry to bring a justice-themed Lenten series to the congregation. Stay tuned for details!
