Backpack Heroes!
We Did It!
Thanks to all of you who pitched in to provide 15 backpacks, crammed with new school supplies, for the children served by Youth Villages! These backpacks will really help the middle school kids we supported start school with a smile and set for a promising year. Special thanks to Julia Daggett for making this happen and to Sarah Girotti who once again provided her front porch as the gathering place for all the packages you provided. And thank you for the incredible good spirit around this project – it was fun to work together in person and across the miles to make this a success!
