Week two of worshiping together while apart. We heard a lot of encouraging feedback from last Sunday and some helpful suggestions. We hope that today will connect us on even deeper ways – although I don’t think much could compete with those beautiful babies. We are continuing our Lenten theme of the Seven Last ‘Words’ of Christ on the cross. This week it feels like we might want to join him in his cry: My God, My God, why have you forsaken me? Our prayer of confession is from Rebecca Jackson, a free black woman who heard the call from God in her prayer of confession. She went on to found a Shaker Community in Philadelphia in the mid 1800’s. We will be lifting up Prayers of the People, so be sure to enter a prayer request if you need one. We hope you will join us through this link. We start at 10:00 – which means that’s when we turn the sound on so don’t think something’s wrong if you hear nothing before then. Here is the worship bulletin for you to view.
