Join Us for Our Last Summer Worship in Ripley (August 31, 2025)
This Sunday, Branda Wilhoite is our lay preacher. Branda Wilhoite and her husband, Randy, moved to Winchester in 1997 and joined the church a few years later. They have three children: Jack, Henry and Grace. Branda retired from her career in the biopharma industry last year and is enjoying time with her family, gardening, practicing Pilates, traveling, and reading. She recently completed a health coaching program as part of her search for “what’s next?” Branda currently serves on the diaconate and on the justice committee of FCCW. Branda will preach on Jacob’s Ladder and the Mustard Seed passages from Scripture through this theme: Faith and the science of spirituality, awakening to synchronicity as God’s guiding hand.After worship, we hope you’ll stick around for hospitality hour. We will celebrate the 91st birthday of our dear friend, Keith Russell, with cake! Keith will be moving to be closer to his family in Rhode Island this fall, so we hope as many folks as possible can come by.
