  • Justice Ministry Hosts Stopover on Winchester Walk for Solidarity

On the snowy afternoon of February 7, our sanctuary served as one of the locations for the Winchester Walk for Solidarity, a journey that began at the Griffin Museum and ended at Crawford Memorial Church.  About 150 people  gathered to support immigrants, due process, democracy, and community.  During the FCC stopover, Will welcomed the congregation, Bruce Alexander spoke to his experiences with the Immigrant Support Alliance, Heba Abu shared her experiences as an immigrant, and Cantor Beth Levin led us in song.  What was most striking about the event was the shared mission amongst participants coming together in response to injustice.  Stay tuned for upcoming similar offerings from the Justice Ministry.
