  • SNAP and Food Insecurity Donation Drive

With the government shutdown and the recent uncertainty around SNAP benefits, we are addressing food insecurity with renewed focus. As we move toward the holiday season, please consider donating a grocery gift card to help those who need food assistance.

For those interested in donating a gift card (preferably from Market Basket or Stop & Shop), we invite you to drop one in the collection plate during worship or use the locked box just outside the church office in the coming days and weeks. If you prefer to leave a check, please make it out to FCC Winchester with “FOOD CARD,” written in the memo line. Donated cards will be distributed to groups within our broader church community such as the Immigrant Support Alliance, and beyond through the Woburn Council for Social Concern.

Thanks to all our congregants for your generosity this month and every month.

    How To Contribute:

    • Bring Gift Cards (Market Basket or Stop & Shop) cash, or a check to worship on Sunday and drop in the collection plate. Write “FOOD CARD” in the check memo.
    • Donate Online, using Venmo or PayPal .  Write “FOOD CARD” in the memo or note field.
    • Contribute towards this campaign on Pledgeling (Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Credit Cards are accepted here.)
    • Drop checks or a gift card off in the church office or in the locked box in the Dix Street hallway.  It is right across the stairs that lead up towards Will’s office.
