Giving varies greatly from $100 per year to in excess of $40,000 per year. In 2020, members pledged an average of $4,770 per year, and the median pledge was $2,510.
We ask each member of our faith community to consider making a pledge that is both faithful to our goal of supporting all our church’s ministries and missions, and meaningful based on their financial situation. At First Congregational, giving is intended to be “in keeping with your income” (1 Corinthians 16:2).
You may change the amount of your pledge at any time. All we ask is that you let us know so we may update our records. Please contact the Chair of the Financial Resources Ministry or the church’s treasurer if, for any reason, you need to change your pledge.
