Stewards of God’s Creation, Our Church and One Another
Following worship this Stewardship Sunday, there will be an 11th Hour presentation with representative(s) from the Leadership Team. On the basis of FCCW’s Strategic Plan, they will be discussing how we can become a carbon-free church while promoting economic sustainability. The first step is to generate our own clean energy through solar power, thereby eliminating our current utility bill(s). In generating an excess of electricity, FCCW’s solar power system will allow us to migrate away from fossil fuel and on towards efficient and clean heating/cooling – such as electric heat pumps.The 11th Hour presentation will be live-streamed and held immediately after worship in the sanctuary. Afterwards, refreshments will be available just outside on the church patio.
