Is it important to pledge if I already give of my time/energy?
Yes! Our church community so much appreciates all who are able to give of their time and energy—as the Apostle Paul says, sharing our spiritual gifts and talents with each other is what “builds up the body of Christ.” However, this is not an “either/or” situation. Contributing both time and money increases our investment in our church family; it gives us all a stake in our mission as we work together to fulfill the purpose of growing in faith, serving in love, and welcoming all with joy.
