  • 178th Annual Meeting

    Sunday May 6, 11:30 AM-1:30 PM

Please plan to attend this annual gathering of the entire congregation. Enjoy a light lunch and engage in meaningful conversations around a table with fellow congregants in Chidley Hall immediately after worship.

The Annual Meeting is for everyone!

It is a time for making significant decisions together about the direction of the coming year, a time to build community, a time to reflect on the year past, a time to celebrate our activities together, and a time to express our hopes for the future. This year we anticipate voting on a new set of bylaws which will fully implement the church structure that we have experimented with and grown into over the past 3 years. This is a joyful opportunity to plant our feet on firm ground so that we can continue to build the ministry of this church with forward-looking eyes. The meeting includes a slide show highlighting all the meaningful ministries we have collectively engaged in during the past year. Non-members are warmly invited to participate in every way except in the voting.

If you have any items that you would like to suggest for the agenda, please contact Penny Sparrow, Moderator immediately.

We are seeking volunteers for a variety of small tasks, so please watch out, in all-church emails and weekly bulletins, for opportunities to contribute to this event, or simply email Marsha Lamson right away! This year we are planning to “self cater” the Luncheon and hope you’ll join in the fun!!

Volunteers are needed to help set up Chidley hall, food shop, toss salad, and clean up. Or maybe you can bake a few cupcakes to help celebrate the year past and the year ahead. We thank you for any help or contribution you can make.
