The Outreach Committee is thrilled to announce this year’s Outreach grant recipients! A portion of your annual pledge and giving and the church’s overall budget goes to Outreach to extend our impact of Christ’s love to our community.  We have the pleasure of evaluating grant requests and supporting local nonprofit organizations for specific use in their programs.  Thank you!

This year we provided 13 organizations with grants ranging from $2000-$3000.   Please note that we give grants to an organization for up to three consecutive years and then ask each organization to ‘take a year off’ so we can keep the number of organizations and the size of the grant meaningful.

Keep an eye on this weekly newsletter – throughout the year we’ll highlight several organizations we support.

    Our first spotlight: Pegasus House.

Pegasus House supports young women, ages 18-25, in their journey to sobriety. These young women receive housing, counseling, and life skills training to help with successful reintegration into a sober life. Director Donna Kivlin says that Pegasus House “teaches young women ages 18-25 that they are worth a healthy, productive lifestyle”. FCC donations will be used to support job training and daily programming.

We are thankful for your support of FCC’s Outreach Committee so that we can provide critical funding to local non-profits.
