    Winchester’s Sustainability Director Ken Pruitt, the Climate Action Advisory Committee and other representatives are planning a Climate Solutions Week for Saturday, September 24, through Sunday, October 2, 2022. Event highlights include:

     

    • Repair Café on Saturday, Sept 24th from 9:30 – 12:30pm, FCCW
    • A panel discussion with all four of Winchester’s state legislators
    • Presentations on how to protect your health in a changing climate
    • Tours of sustainable homes and properties, including Wright Locke Farm
    • Mend Your Jeans Hands On Workshop, Friday, Sept. 30th from 7-8pm, FCCW
    • An electric vehicle showcase
    • and much more!

     

    There are 18 planned events during the week that will highlight federal, state and local trends, programs and opportunities that are helping to reduce carbon pollution and make communities like Winchester more resilient.
