Join us for Palm Sunday Worship (March 24, 2024)
We begin Holy Week this Sunday with a Palm Sunday service of celebration and preparation. We’ll begin with a blessing of the Palms out on the Town Common at 9:40 am (it might be chilly so bundle up!) and then walk together up the stairs with Palm branches into the sanctuary for the 10 am start of the service. The choir will offer a rousing “Hosanna, Loud Hosanna”, Rev. Will will reflect on Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem based on John’s version of the story (John 12:12-16), we’ll have one more opportunity to light prayer candles in this season of Lent, and we’ll once again shroud the cross at the end of the service to prepare the space for Holy Week, our Maundy Thursday service, and the Good Friday Vigil to come.
