This Sunday will be Pastor Judy’s last Sunday in Worship. She is retiring! Many elements of the worship service will be focused on the goodbye. But still worship will be about God and our relationship with God. The scriptures highlight the gift of Hospitality – something at which this body of Christ is especially adept. At Pastor Judy’s request the choir will be singing Come Dwell in Solomon’s Walls – a long cherished anthem with which we began the church year. The Pandemic has turned everything upside down, so now we close this church year and Pastor Judy’s pastorate with it. There will be a liturgy of ‘release’ where the congregation and Pastor Judy share words of reconciliation and gratitude. The picnic to follow will be festive and joyful. Worship begins at 10 a.m. in person or online. We hope you will join us.
