We continue our worship series on the 7 Deadly Sins this Sunday with a consideration of the sin of SLOTH. Jesus’ parable in the gospel of Luke about the fruitless fig tree is a good one for ushering us into the consideration of this particular distortion of human desire. If you’re thinking “Well, this particular sin is definitely not an issue for me.” Think again. The sin of sloth is so much more than laziness and can even take the deceptive shape of busy-ness! The not-so-slothful Jazz Band will accompany our service and you‘ve likely never heard a worship anthem like the one the choir is preparing for us! We hope you can join us at 10 am on Sunday.
