Join Us on Zoom for Communion Worship and Coffee Hour (Sep 6, 2020)
This Sunday is a Communion Sunday so we will be worshipping on Zoom. If you could gather a bit of bread and juice and have it handy, we can all participate in the sacrament together. Rev. Jonathan Goodell will be our preacher. The scripture is from Exodus and is God instructing the Jews in Egypt on how God envisions this first Passover meal. Later, when we share Communion, perhaps it will have an additional meaning for us. Zoom worship starts at 10:00 a.m. and is followed by an opportunity to join a small breakout group for “coffee hour”. As is our summer practice, we will have a Time for the Young, and sing only two hymns – aiming for depth not length.
