Join Us on Zoom for Communion Worship (November 1, 2020)
In worship this week we will be joining several themes that all converge on this Sunday. We will be sharing Communion. In this Zoom worship, from each of our homes we will eat bread and drink juice together – with the congregation and with Christians everywhere. Despite its secular nature, the election is not far from most of our minds. The Lectionary text for this week, Matthew 23:1-12, provides several perspectives from which we can remind ourselves that nothing is purely secular and God is in and with us in everything. This Sunday is also All Souls Sunday when we bring forth those beloved family, friends and others who have died. As always, we will sing and pray and praise God.
