Our second Tuesday with Jesus is coming up on March 10th. About 20 of us gathered in Ripley for centering prayer and then went up to the Tucker Room for a delicious soup supper accompanied by Rev. Will reading the first chapter of On the Brink of Everything: Grace, Gravity and Getting Old by Parker Palmer. He, has a unique style so that in the midst of anecdote and observation there are thoughts that can be taken with us. In the brief discussion that followed several people had zeroed in on the same one or two sentences. The reading has a theme but is presented so that one can join at any point. We gather at 6:30 in the Chapel and end at 8:00 pm.
