You are invited to join us for another year of “pursuing unanswerable questions in good company” which is at least part of what we do when we come together for worship every Sunday morning at 10am, whether in person or on-line. Each Sunday we allow our sacred Biblical text to guide us into song, prayer, and reflection and stir within our souls ponderings and questions that can deepen and enrich the way we live. We can pursue questions and answers on the internet by ourselves, of course, that’s easier than ever. But asking the deeper questions of life that don’t necessarily have google-able answers is best done in community and with song and prayer. This week our guiding scripture is from Luke 15 where Jesus tells two small stories about lost things. Very quickly the smallest of stories told by Jesus lead to BIG questions of life and death and the handiwork of grace. Let’s pursue some of these questions together! Come join us in the sanctuary or on-line at 10am this Sunday.
On Sunday Sep 11 we will be regathering in the sanctuary for Worship at 10am where the choir will be back in full voice and Rev Will will be preaching on the parable of the lost sheep and coin. The Church Picnic will be on the lawn immediately following the service. There will be games and a bouncy house for the young.
