- Do you have a lamp that no longer shines, or a toaster that isn’t toasty?
- Maybe your great Auntie’s recipe box is gathering dust because the lid has broken or your kitchen chair leg has a wobble?
- Do you have clothes in a pile because hems have come undone, or buttons are missing or have the moths been eating your favourite sweater?
- Is there a box of broken children’s toys that have been sent to the basement?
- Maybe tomato season is ruined because your knife is too dull…..?
Our next Repair Cafe will be held on Saturday September 24th in Chidley Hall from 9.30am -12.30pm and we have the solution for these problems and so much more!.
Repair Cafe is a broad and inclusive neighbourhood initiative that promotes repairing and reusing household items, clothing and other items that would otherwise be thrown away.
We aim to encourage and promote a culture of sustainability by sharing and teaching others simple repair skills.
It’s fun and economical!
