What is FCCW doing to help those who are experiencing particular need (financially) in this environment?
FCCW has established a COVID 19 Fund with the proceeds of the 2020 Easter Offering and added to by additional donations. This fund has aided members of the congregation and the wider community in the areas of food and housing insecurity, and has provided support for essential workers with protective equipment.
In this challenging year FCCW has been able to provide financial continuity to employees and tenants. With the assistance of the Payroll Protection Fund loan described immediately below, FCCW has provided rent relief to tenants where needed and has continued to compensate certain church employees whose duties have been obviated by the church’s closure.
