Based on responses from our younger families, we are temporarily closing the Nursery. Families with infants and toddlers are always welcomed in the sanctuary for Sunday services, but the Family Room (located just outside the door on the right of the front of the sanctuary) is also available. In the Family Room parents can continue to watch the live-streamed service while their children play in a cozy living room setting.
We had so much fun last week creating critters to add to Annie the Storecrow’s display. And we have another wonderful lesson planned for this week that includes a discussion of Ten Commandments and the Pumpkin Parable. The kids will also play some fun pumpkin themed games in celebration of All Hallow’s Eve. Although fall is in the air, we are planning to be outside on Sunday morning so dress appropriately!
The next Junior Forum meeting is on Sunday 11/7 at 10 a.m. Willie Baronet will be speaking with the Jr. Forum and Sr. Forum about his Ripley Chapel Art Installation called “We are All Homeless.” Families are encouraged to watch some or all of the documentary produced by Mr. Baronet “Signs of Humanity” as a preview of the event.
No Forum this Sunday because of All Hallows Eve. We will be having a special presentation next Sunday 11/7 at 10 a.m. Willie Baronet will be speaking with the Jr. Forum and Sr. Forum about his Ripley Chapel Art Installation called “We are All Homeless.” We hope to see you there!
