As we approach the end of the Easter season, we hear some of the last words Jesus spoke to his disciples in the Gospel of John, words that ask us to love one another. We often think of love as made real by the things we do for one another but love is a force beyond us and our actions and often simply needs the space to have its way. At the end of life, when we can not DO as much as we used to, we can still allow love to work through us for the sake of others. Jesus is our example for this and communion is a meal of love that we receive as a result. We hope you can join us this Sunday as we worship together and share in our Lord’s Supper.
