In a world swirling with choices, fevered schedules and chaotic events, the topic of “stability” can seem like a true sanctuary topic, a shelter. But stability has a unique invitation from this week’s passages. It takes us into the dynamism of Jesus’ life and ministry. His focus on life instead of permanence makes this kind of “stability” more abundant, more of an adventure than we might first have imagined.We will be welcoming our children to communion this Sunday. And we will invite you to stay for our Annual Meeting, held in the sanctuary directly after worship.
