  • Ripley Chapel Q&A Session

As the new year 2019 begins we will be moving quickly towards beginning the renovations of Ripley Chapel! There will be an opportunity to gather after worship on Sunday, January 6 for a question and answer session about the process. On Sunday, January 13 the Ripley Chapel Working Group will request formal approval from the congregation to proceed with the chosen General Contractor. Please join us with any questions or concerns you may have.

After the worship service this Sunday (1/6/19) the Ripley Chapel Working Group will host a Question and Answer Hearing in the Palmer Room to share any and all information about the planned renovations to the Chapel. This session is a preliminary step in advance of a Special Congregational Meeting scheduled right after worship on the next Sunday, 1/13/19, in the Sanctuary.

The congregational meeting is being called to vote on the Ripley Chapel Working Group’s recommendation to commence the construction phase with Seaver Construction of Woburn as the General Contractor. It will be held immediately after worship on Sunday January 13th in the sanctuary. The warrant can be seen by clicking here. Please plan on attending.

The Working Group has held a couple of coffee hours in Ripley Chapel since Thanksgiving and hopes most members of the congregation have had a good chance to learn and ask questions about the renovation plans. Nonetheless we want to give everyone one more chance this Sunday to learn everything you need to know before considering your vote at the upcoming meeting on the 13th.

We have updated the Ripley Chapel page of the church’s website and there you will find a number of documents that explain our plans. You will find that information here.
