Many church people have read the book Caste by Isabel Wilkerson this summer. It is a unique view into the origins of racial strife in the United States. Using that perspective, Wilkerson leads us in identifying the aspects of caste that we live out today. Julianne Zimmerman will lead us in a discussion about the book. There is no expectation that everyone will have found it helpful – difference of opinion makes for a lively exchange.
