Youth Overnight May 20th-21st
Middle School and High School Students
This year’s overnight is a week away! You must RSVP (SIGN UP HERE by FRIDAY because we need to make sure we have enough drivers. Here are the details:
- The church will be open at 6pm for you to come and drop your stuff off in the Forum Room and then head to the EnKa fair with your friends
- You must be back at the church and inside by 1015pm. The only exception is if you let me know the day before that you will need to arrive afterwards
- We will be heading to Danvers’ Laser Quest at 1130pm and will be back by 4am
- When we get back, we will have prayers and it will be quiet time for the rest of the night.
- Everyone will be in the Forum Room (for sleeping) or Chidley Hall (if you don’t want to sleep)
- We will wake up and have breakfast at 830
- You will be required to attend the service (and be awake for it)
- The cost is $40 (which includes Laser Tag, and van rentals)
Other stuff:
- We are still looking for some adults to take shifts, help drive (possibly) and supply breakfast
- We don’t want anyone not to go because of the cost. Just reach out to me privately.
- We will be teaming up with the Parish of the Epiphany Church to go to laser tag.
- No youth will drive another youth on this trip. It will only be adults who are over 25 years of age.
- We will have ‘common sense’ rules which include things like no drugs, drinking, inappropriate canoodling, not listening to the chaperones etc.
- If these rules are broken, they will receive one warning and then will be required to be left if it continues.
