• All Souls Sunday October 28

This coming Sunday we will be celebrating All Souls.  This celebration has links to many cultures and dates back centuries.  Connected to Halloween primarily by our love of the spooky and the scary, this remembrance of our beloved dead falls on the Sunday before it.  And far from being afraid of the dead, All Souls provides an opportunity to bring them to life by sharing artifacts and pictures of those we’ve loved and lost with one another.  Worship this Sunday will include an Altar Building where you will be invited to place an object representing a loved one now gone on the altar table. The choir will be singing an anthem especially selected for All Souls while the congregation comes forward as the spirit moves.. This may lead to sharing a story with a friend at coffee hour or you may closely hold your memories to yourself.  We hope you and your memories will join us for worship this Sunday.
