Annual Meeting Sunday, May 5th at 11:30 am
You are warmly invited to our church’s 2019 annual meeting on Sunday May 5th. It is after worship in Chidley hall and includes a catered light lunch. There will also be lunch and childcare – with activities – provided for the children. Never been to an annual meeting here before or haven’t been for several years? Then you don’t know how engaging our meetings can be. This year you should bring your smartphone, if you have one, for a new community activity! We will be hearing a State of the commUnion address from Will. He hopes to talk about what has been happening in our congregation and challenge us about how we can continue to move forward. Our table conversations will pick up on this as we share our ideas of where our priorities should be in the next five years. These discussions will help to inform the Leadership Team as it undertakes a one-year process of strategic planning for the next five years.We plan to give the table floral displays to the person at the table who is the newest to our church – we’d love to have our more recent arrivals come join us. You don’t have to be a member to attend the meeting – you don’t vote, but that will be a relatively brief part of the proceedings.
