  • Join us for Centering Prayer- Sunday, April 28th at 9:15 AM

“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”,

    Hebrews 11:1

Using a sacred word, Centering Prayer draws one’s focus and attention to interior stillness and opens us to God’s presence and action within.  Join us in the Palmer Room next Sunday from 9:15-9:45.  Laurie Roby and Mike Reading will introduce and guide the prayer session which is open to both those new and experienced in the practice.

The Centering Prayer- Prepare for Worship Series will be offered the 4th Sunday of the month.  Child Care is available.

Saint Paul spoke of perceptivity with the term faith, often misunderstood by the linear mind. What it really designates is not a leaping into the dark but a subtle seeing in the dark, a kind of spiritual night vision that allows one to see with inner certainty that the elusive golden thread glimpsed from within actually does lead somewhere .
