Ash Wednesday Service Feb 26, 2020
Join us for a brief service in a candle-lit Ripley Chapel to begin Lent this Wednesday at 7
pm. The service is a time of preparation and reflection for the 40 days to come when we remember our human mortality and dependence upon God. We’ll gather in the round and share in scripture, song, and prayer and conclude with an imposition of ashes on the forehead with the blessing: “From dust you have come to dust you shall return, receive God’s blessing for these 40 days.”
