Ripley Chapel Renovation News
Our long awaited Ripley Entrance handicapped door is almost ready. Preparation for the doorway at the top of the ramp from the Vine Street parking lot is taking place today (Thursday, February 20). The old doors will remain in place until the brand new door is installed on Monday, February 24.
As you may recall the Ripley Chapel pro
ject included a full replacement of the doors at the exterior Ripley Entrance with a modern fully handicapped accessible door with power assist. It will also be interconnected with our American Alarm access system so it can scheduled to be open when needed for events in the building or accessible with the use of a FCCW issued fob or access PIN code. I expect everything should be fully functional over the course of next week.Here is a drawing of what the new door will look like:
