  • Boston Pride Parade Saturday June 8th.

The UCC message of Extravagant Welcome for people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expressions is always well-received at the Boston Pride parade. The UCC ONA presence makes a real difference. While we aren’t organizing a FCCW group this year, any individual can join with other Mass Conference ONA churches to march in the parade. Alternatively, you are encouraged to simply watch and support this wonderful celebration of LGBTQIA pride.

The parade starts at Copley Square at noon and finishes at City Hall Plaza. To march with the UCC group, you just need to find them lined up in the Boylston street staging area (look for the banner and church names signs), or watch the parade and jump in when the UCC churches pass by.

There is also a worship service at Old South Church 11am-12 noon before the parade starts. Pride Morning Worship at Old South is a high-energy, joyous annual service celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community. Rev. Quinn Caldwell is preaching and the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus will sing.
