Please join us for a gallery showing of local Winchester artists: oil painter, Tracy Vartenigian Burhans; Stephen Haggett, acrylics and mosaics; oil painter, Barry McArdle; Karen Swyers, watercolors and acrylics; and fabric artist, Kiyomi Yatsuhashi.
You are invited to “Through an Open Window,” an Opening Gallery Exhibit and Reception, to celebrate not only the rich talents and varied works of these artists, but to enjoy the renovation of Ripley Chapel, which features a stunning clear glass window with views out to Wedge Pond. This is an opportunity to “shine a new light” on some of Winchester’s most gifted artists. Throughout the evening, you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with these accomplished folks. If you are unable to attend on Friday evening, January 31, please plan to stop by Ripley Chapel – the exhibit will be hung until February 14, 2020-it will be open weekdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Admission is free, including the reception. Some of the art works will be for sale, and proceeds will benefit the Ripley Programming Fund.
Entry to Ripley Chapel is found at 21 Church Street, Winchester, Vine Street accessible entrance. Please contact Jane Ring Frank, Minister of Music and Worship Arts, at 857-919-0983 for more info.
