Vigil Nov. 20 1 pm FCCW Zoom

Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR), is an annual observance on November 20 that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives have been lost in acts of anti-transgender violence and raises awareness about the violence affecting the transgender community. This year, on the 21st anniversary of this tradition, FCCW will hold a brief Zoom vigil to honor and remember those who have been killed in 2020.
For people of faith and compassion, this day is an opportunity to proclaim that each person is a child of God and made in God’s image – fearfully and wonderfully made – and that God calls each of us to live out our truest and most authentic identity.
Judy Arnold, Jacob Greenberg, and Anne Hoenicke will be leading the vigil service.
